In the wake of experiencing the GRP bolts solicited roughly agencies, Lawrence, Jerome and Olivier made the finding of their damage. Jerome suffered mainly from blistered feet and pretty painful if Oliver had for his feet and legs almost intact it was still in his back the open wounds of its heavy stuff. But that Lawrence was the most affected and it has indeed not been sparing of his forces the day before, leading the caravan in almost all the journey and he allowed this one to arrive in reasonable time. His impetuous commitment on the long road of Boulogne was so sacrificial as he announced sadly to his colleagues no longer have the strength to accompany them on the route of the GRP Belt Boulogne.
Celebrating his arrival in the Knights of the Horizons by this heroic ride, which he had previously done only one exit beyond the 60 km!
Having bandaged their wounds, only then Jerome and Oliver appeared before the station of Boulogne to seal Alliance Boulonnaise and fulfill the double. But what was their surprise to see 3 new figures reveal them. Remy, Philippe and Olivier (the second) had in fact decided that day to join the College of Horizons.
the introductions, this happy crowd then unrolled his first steps in bright sunshine and bright blue skies. Good weather and good company, it was enough to Jerome and Olivier to recover much of the lost strength yesterday.
The course offered them many views deserve to shut down and a few landscapes seashores quite admirable. Despite urbanization ever closer, the trails often conceal from you that look really giving a rustic note to this walk.
few caveats still to this nice path. First, the total absence of markup GRP, only traces of the GR 120 common beginning and very end of the course are visible, bring absolutely card format sufficiently precise. Second passage through the warehouses of the port on the last kilometers, not really ... bucolic Third, ignoring completely the historical site of "Old Boulogne" rich including its ramparts and its masterful basilica yet close to the start ...
If this first shipment of GRP Belt Boulogne went smoothly and ended fraternal coffee on the terrace of the station rocked by a generous sun.
