The wk 26 & 27 June took place the first 24h of the Echo Forest of Ohlain. An edition out of competition co-organized by Fabien Rollin (6h Echo) Laurent Berthelin (Trail of Hairy Bullygeois) and the Brotherhood of Horizons.
This experiment was a complete success. The logistics nothing has come to miss the comfort of the participants with 4 berths arbors, arbor a canteen full of vivid, an electronic chip for each participant to assess his progress and above all a team entirely dedicated to the guardian angels welfare circadian about this "Thank You" to the sisters-Cajun at Moy and Jenny, our Charles Marabout and the many caring of this great event.
But if the technical side was blameless it is also the atmosphere that marked the spirits and those still several days after the event. This trip was really Circad the opportunity to share an intense moment of camaraderie, solidarity and brotherhood, all mixed in a festive atmosphere saucy ...
The last lap of honor and improvised the final presentation of the participants on the podium was a great moment of emotion that all keep, I am sure, seared into them ...
If the Brotherhood advocates the avoidance and the space it has therefore not incompatible with a loop circuit of 2.5 km, because we have discovered a space of infinite knowledge and friendship. We've learned so much about ourselves but also between us in 24 hours than our horizon is once again expanded the frontiers of our knowledge ...
However once sounded the death knell of the 24th hour, many had in mind only one question .... and next year ...???
And then we had to bring several people to consider the future of this adventure ... and we already have the answer !!!!! Yes it is an outright SCOOP!! attention but nothing is really official.
24 Off The Echo will be renewed every 2 years to relax and live the moment with the same freshness emotional, either side of the racers and the precious and indispensable "leaders". These 24 will therefore always be an experience out of competition that promotes the values of sharing, discovery and celebration TOTAL!
But what odd years you say?!?! Here, the answer was quickly found also with the proposal of a 24 relay! For now the idea and open paddocks of this relay completely crazy to 25 teams of 4 riders each. If the party must always be in the background of This event, the cons for the game and open it in a pure spirit of the 24h of Le Mans car that the 25 teams will be welcomed! It is thus necessary to find (though we have little to lose) our child's soul to see meteor ultra prepared with a team welded to the race strategy and finely honed and roll right to the crown of laurel and explosion of champagne on the podium! A real circuit 24 for big kids!
If we can envision a competition running on this principle, let us make no mistake this is primarily a life-size game where you have to keep in mind the great values "Ohlain-pic" of celebration and camaraderie for not risking going off!
Even if this project is now not hesitate to keep us informed of your wish to participate! You can introduce me a team already formed or in part, and even declare you alone for now, we will deal well with all that true to form stable ultra-motivated!
And now you're well aware that no matter how powerful your engine is still the energy released by the heart which mark the circuit! So let go by this new experiment that will be held on 25 & 26 June 2011!
