The Pitch

I plant so the decor: The
icy brilliance of the full moon floods the dark valley Ternois, then rang the knell of midnight. It's the sound of this requiem dark as the fatal fog rises suddenly, revealing one by one horsemen of the Apocalypse. Across the horizon they heard the call of the icy black mass, so their instincts lead them to come together to merge into one entity, a creature without a name, because naming curse you forever.
Thus formed, the Wild Bunch will constantly eat up the night his spinal sunny. Nothing can slow down this dark cohort, feasting on each hazard. Because it is only when the sun started shining they will stop their cruel feast. Then tried

the footsteps of St. Hermit and the Legend of the thirteenth Apostle.

During our night expedition in the North Ternois we cross the village of Amettes birthplace St. Benedict Labre. Suppressed monasteries toughest because of alleged poor health and lack of knowledge in song and Scripture, he road his own place of worship. So this St. devoted his life to prayer and contemplation during the long journeys across Europe, it is estimated his journey more than 30 000 km! This Holy Vagabond could thus become the patron saint of the Brotherhood ...

Our steps lead us also to the town where Saint Aumerval Martin, dubbed the thirteenth apostle because of his great popularity in the Pas de Calais, it performs a small miracle. Indeed his horse during a jump wonderful, left his imprint on a block of sandstone, traces of which still apparent and the legend invites travelers to put their foot to be cleansed of all fatigue ...

I hope I have given you want to discover these sights with us on our next trip!

In the wake of experiencing the GRP bolts solicited roughly agencies, Lawrence, Jerome and Olivier made the finding of their damage. Jerome suffered mainly from blistered feet and pretty painful if Oliver had for his feet and legs almost intact it was still in his back the open wounds of its heavy stuff. But that Lawrence was the most affected and it has indeed not been sparing of his forces the day before, leading the caravan in almost all the journey and he allowed this one to arrive in reasonable time. His impetuous commitment on the long road of Boulogne was so sacrificial as he announced sadly to his colleagues no longer have the strength to accompany them on the route of the GRP Belt Boulogne.
Celebrating his arrival in the Knights of the Horizons by this heroic ride, which he had previously done only one exit beyond the 60 km!
Having bandaged their wounds, only then Jerome and Oliver appeared before the station of Boulogne to seal Alliance Boulonnaise and fulfill the double. But what was their surprise to see 3 new figures reveal them. Remy, Philippe and Olivier (the second) had in fact decided that day to join the College of Horizons.
the introductions, this happy crowd then unrolled his first steps in bright sunshine and bright blue skies. Good weather and good company, it was enough to Jerome and Olivier to recover much of the lost strength yesterday.
The course offered them many views deserve to shut down and a few landscapes seashores quite admirable. Despite urbanization ever closer, the trails often conceal from you that look really giving a rustic note to this walk.
few caveats still to this nice path. First, the total absence of markup GRP, only traces of the GR 120 common beginning and very end of the course are visible, bring absolutely card format sufficiently precise. Second passage through the warehouses of the port on the last kilometers, not really ... bucolic Third, ignoring completely the historical site of "Old Boulogne" rich including its ramparts and its masterful basilica yet close to the start ...
If this first shipment of GRP Belt Boulogne went smoothly and ended fraternal coffee on the terrace of the station rocked by a generous sun.
Welcome to three new Knights: Remy, Olivier (the "referring" not to be confused) and Philippe alias PhildeFer and thank you to them for their good humor and enthusiasm saving from Jerome and Olivier, who are now the Knights scored two of Seal of the Alliance Boulonnaise accomplished on a weekend the 131 km in the Boulogne 5:43 p.m. the GRP and the 46 km of GRP 5:33 Belt Boulogne Sur Mer

For the GRP Boulonnais the longer the list, 3 Knights responded to the sound of the kill, Lawrence, Jerome and Olivier .
They agreed to meet you the night before their commander of the Opal Coast to be closer to the place of departure until the early hours of the day. After their hearty meal designed to overcome the stressful day, Morpheus invited himself shortly before midnight to take off almost as soon as 3:00 am. They set out early, very (too) alleviated by hour of sleep because they knew they announced the 123 km take the day, praying that this is no longer ...
Heavily harnessed in anticipation of a long battery life, they took the road soon 5:00 a penetrating Mist them already gnawed bones. The first rays of day gave to the coastal landscape leaving a veil spectral and see her beauty only after a patient and close observation.
Throughout the day they traveled trails coastal lowland forest campaign and passages, decorated with magnificent vistas whenever offered the gradient of the bolt and its environs.
However one of the highlights of the course will undoubtedly epic crossing of the forest Desvres. His many swampy sections appear to have been overlooked because no maps exist only very few traces of markup indicating directions to the limit of the floor. To get through this wild vegetation, if not hostile, a little intuition and above all a reliable GPS track is essential. This episode of "junglerie" and acrobatics will leave traces in organisms.
They do not prayed to enjoy the appearances of bistros like an oasis in the desert by recharging their water and digging into their food, just sitting comfortably .. actually ...
The trio evolved so the rhythm of his forces fleeting but avoided major injury and fatal pitfalls. The setting sun accompanied their last stride and they took advantage of the performance of a gibbous moon and glowing through the sweet smell of mown wheat late.
They put their bags to their final legs late in the evening after 5:43 p.m. and 131km effort. They was impossible for them to redo the course of the day now so it was rich and lush, then priority should therefore be given rest, as to seal the Alliance Boulonnaise, they would still perform the way Belt of Boulogne Sur Mer and 46 km the next day ...

What Does A Cavalier/poodle Look Like

The Seal of the Alliance Boulonnaise (wk from 08/09 August)

We can now proclaim to you, the weekend of August 8 and 9 will be red on the trails!

because the Brotherhood has scheduled a double whammy. We begin our adventure Saturday, August 8 with the 123 km Tour du Boulogne (from Wissant) enchainer for the next day (Sunday, August 9th ... are you following?) By 43 km from Boulogne Belt. So we will draw at the forefront of our stride a pretty big Boulonnaise Eight coast.

For those wishing to embark on the challenge of 170 km on the wk, do not hesitate to make known to you because there will be surely a possibility of sleeping on the coast but places are very small. Otherwise you are free to join us on either of these two outputs given that the 43 km of the Belt of Boulogne is a good opportunity to enter smoothly into the world of the Brotherhood! The pace is also very cool because Jerome and Olivier among others will still be 123 km in the legs since yesterday ...

Starting times will be announced soon, until then there is still time to cancel your holiday you do know. Little paper mussels and fries on the Coast is of course the program to close this wk iodized.
